The Volt Stick Wide The Volt Stick Wide is an extremely sensitive proximity tester indicating voltage down to 12VAC with it’s bright red LED indicator in the tip and its loud and clear sounder.
This easy-to-operate, pen-sized voltage tester is designed for safe checking for the presence of an AC voltage – in cables, power sockets, metalic surfaces, fuses, junction boxes, circuit breakers and more.
The new Volt Stick Wide provides dual sensitivity testing, switchable by the user between 50-Vac and ultra low voltage 12 Vac ranges. By switching sensitivities the user can change the distance from which the Volt Stick will detect making it easier to check a work area for voltages.
The product’s green tube makes it easy to spot in the tool box or if dropped and it’s pen-size and pocket clip makes it easy to store in clothing or tools belt, etc. Also features a built in bright LED torch at the tip making it easy to use in dark areas and a built in self test circuit to ensure that the Volt Sticks batteries are good and that it is functioning correctly
