Available in two lengths, with diameters ranging from 14 to 75mm, Acceler8% MAX cutters are ideal when working on metal enclosures, trunking, cabinets, structural steelwork and pipework.
- Drills up to 350 holes in stainless steel & tough alloys*
- Special tungsten carbide teeth provide excellent wear and heat resistance
- One piece construction – no assembly is required and enables accurate drilling
- Safety collar stop prevents over penetration for safer, faster operation
- Ejector spring ejects the slug for hassle free drilling
- 3mm Hex Key included with replacement springs and pilot drills available to keep your cutter in use for longer
*Testing carried out in 2mm thick stainless steel at correct recommended speed and using cutting compound
Short Series drills steel up to 5mm thick
Can be used in mild steel, stainless steel, steel plate, cast iron, aluminium, brass, copper, FRP (i.e. fibreglass) and plastic
Tech-Tips
- Using cutting oil will extend product life and is imperative in stainless steel. Try our cutting compound (part number ECC002).
- Acceler8% MAX cutters can be used in standard portable power tools run on rotation only and any power tool with a range of 300 to 1000 rpm.
- For diameters greater than 50mm we do not recommend the use of Acceler8% MAX cutters in portable power tools.
