The Andersen Quartz 7kW Untethered (Socketed) EV Charger is a smart, sleek and compact single-phase electric vehicle charging point that is not only packed with smart features but also smaller in size than the already space-saving Andersen A3. You can even design, personalise and customise your Andersen Quartz with a plethora of unique finishes to choose from, including Midnight Black, Cheltenham Graphite, Maranello Red and Alpine White.
Andersen EV chargers are compatible with all electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles with Type 2 ports. At Eco Wizard, you can choose from either socketed or tethered options so you can charge according to your individual requirements and lifestyle. This socketed charger allows you to make use of your existing Type 2 EV charging cable, giving you the flexibility to plug and unplug your cable for storage, security and convenience.
Download the Andersen app to monitor the cost of your sessions and connect your smart tariff to potentially save hundreds of pounds on charging. You’ll be able to instantly Start/Stop charging, see your charging status, duration, cost and energy usage on the app’s homepage, alongside other useful features such as remote security locking, scheduled charging and vehicle integration.
To start an immediate charging session, even when a schedule is set, hit the Boost button on the base of your Andersen Quartz EV charger. This is ideal if you need to rapidly charge up your electric or hybrid vehicle without affecting your existing schedule, which is great for unplanned charging.
Whether your home or workplace has single-phase electricity or a three-phase supply, the Andersen Quartz can fit seamlessly into your property with two power options to choose from at Eco Wizard. You can also make full use of the Quartz’s cutting-edge smart technology, including solar compatibility and many other smart features.
Please Note: Adaptive Fuse CT Clamp included as standard with 7kW units. If you have the CT clamp installed for grid monitoring and/or solar functionality, you’ll be able to access Live Eco-System View on the app to see your solar and grid energy usage, which can be easily adjusted and monitored.
